The Town Trail starts at the Town Hall.

The Main Town Trail is about 3 miles long – but there are shorter, alternative routes which are indicated in the text and on the map.

The Town Trail is marked out in 30 bronze plaques which are installed in the pavements at various points along the route. The plaques are marked on the map shown below.
